About Strawberry Fields Together!

About Us

Founded in early 1970’s, this 18 acres of land was seen as one of Jamaica’s most natural and beautiful treasures. Named after the popular Beatles song ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ , Strawberry Fields Together! became popular for its unspoilt and immaculately beach coves and grounds which are ideal for camping, fun days, destination weddings, family reunion, retreats and couple getaways. Attracting people from all over the world seeking its “Irie” feeling, the property has been dubbed ‘a Paradise within Paradise’.

Originally named Toby Bay, the main beach cove is a few metres from Don Christopher’s Point, a historical point where the Spanish and English last fought at sea. For a while in history, the point was called Combat Point and there are stories of the Spaniards burying gold on the north coast before fleeing (some of which were recently found). Continuing with its mark in Jamaica, this cove was naturally made by nature and is the only white sand beach on the whole coast.

Words do not perform any sort of justice to impart the sheer majesty and beauty that Strawberry Fields Together! encapsulates. Located on the North Eastern shoreline of sub-tropical Jamaica, this eco friendly resort is an oasis of true beauty and natural wonder.

Privately owned and in the same local residents’ nurturing hands, the property has been kept unscathed from the excesses of ultra-commercialism. You would be correct to call this the “Jewel in The Crown” of what a traditional Jamaican resort ought to be. And no, it does not get any better than this.

The resort has reached over 30 years of ownership by the same ‘local’ owner Kim Chase, (2012 regional NCB Women in Business Winner); Strawberry Fields Together! is a testimony to her belief of how to enjoy a holiday without any forced ‘tourist’ traps. The resort epitomizes the very essence of what Jamaica has to offer locals and the global tourist market.

Strawberry Fields Together! has gently changed with the times, a genteel combination of tradition and excellent ‘local’ service. This combination offer guests (more often they become friends) a feeling of yesteryear service with unflustered delivery of home cooked Jamaican treats such as Jerked Pork, Miss Jen’s Fried Chicken (2015 Table Talk Food Award winning meal), Curried Mutton and locally sourced Escoveitch Fish, to name a few. Our
on-site restaurant, Strawberry Patch Café and Grill , overlooks 180 degrees of Caribbean Ocean and provides a spectacular backdrop to any family or corporate event.

The property consists of 14 rooms which are configured into two 3 bedroom villas, two 2 bedroom villas and 3 single cottages all which can be rented together or separate for a ‘chilled’ weekend away or longer as the fancy takes you with names such as To Di World, Lightning, Bolt, Love Nest, Sunrise Magic, Pirate’s Den, Hidden Treasures, Moonlight Magic, Secrets and Dreams, Dream Maker, Eazy Breezy and Purple Passion. While staying in any of these cottages/villas, the ocean is always right at your doorstep.

However, there is one thing that always sets any idyllic resort apart from the next – the staff, their attitude and demeanour. Any best laid plans can quickly dissolve without that special ingredient – THE STAFF . Our staff members have been commended for their welcoming and comforting service offered to guests.

The resort is a big part of the Robin’s Bay community as all staff members are residents and live in the area. As apart of its social responsibility and volunteerism, Strawberry Fields Together! participates as well as hosts activities that will benefit the community. Volunteer activities include beach cleanup, hospital visits among others that are conducted at specific times of the year.

With its natural beauty, wonderful attractions and welcoming staff, Strawberry Fields Together! was awarded the HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence award for 2017! This award is in recognition for consistently achieving the highest standards of Customer Satisfaction worldwide. We are now represented in the top 3% of resorts worldwide for Customer Satisfaction.
