Visit a working estate's huge orchid house, see and learn about these lovely, delicate but hardy flowers see how they grow in no soil, and watch how they are pollinated by hand. This is Green Castle Estate a 1600 acre farm, one of the first farms with certified organic products!
We drive then to the estate house and visit the Crum-Ewing's a lovely family who have managed the farm for over 40 years. Susan takes you on her garden tour as you view over the Caribbean Sea, then she serves her homemade cakes, sandwiches, and Jamaican tea on her verandah overlooking the Caribbean Sea with Doctor Birds coming right up to you as you sip your tea! They have identified over 100 varieties of birds on the farm, so for you bird watchers, this is the place!
